Winners announced: New South Wales Landscape Architecture Awards

Across the state awards program, a total of 12 Awards of Excellence and 17 Landscape Architecture Awards were given out.

The Australian Institute of Landscape Architects has announced the winners of their 2023 New South Wales Landscape Architecture Awards program.

In the Parks and Open Space category, The Drying Green by McGregor Coxall with the City of Sydney and Regal Innovations took out the Award of Excellence. Quay Quarter Lanes by Aspect Studios was the winner in the Civic Landscape section, with projects by JMD Design, Tyrrellstudio and McGregor Coxall celebrated with Landscape Architecture Awards.

Across the state awards program, a total of 12 Awards of Excellence and 17 Landscape Architecture Awards were given out.

The jury for the 2023 awards program comprised Suellen Fitzgerald (chair), Barbara Schaffer, Garry Murray, Kate McCauley, Adam Cryer, Shivani Bhatnagar and Martin Bryant.

All recipients of Awards of Excellence and Landscape Architecture Awards will progress to the 2023 National Landscape Architecture Awards to be announced in late October at the upcoming 2023 Festival of Landscape Architecture, themed “Un/Earth.”
