Emily Wong joins Landscape Australia

Emily Wong has joined Architecture Media’s content team as editor of its landscape architecture and design titles and programs – LandscapeAustralia.com, Landscape Architecture Australia magazine and the Landscape Australia Conference.

Emily is a graduate of the Master of Landscape Architecture program at the University of Melbourne and has a Graduate Diploma of Journalism from Curtin University. Most recently Emily has combined sessional teaching and research in landscape architecture at Deakin University and the University of Melbourne with a role as an editorial and communications assistant at Melbourne-based publication Assemble Papers.

We look forward to the insights and perspective Emily will bring to Australian landscape architecture, urban design and planning.

In December 2017 Ricky Ray Ricardo signed off as editor. After almost five years working across Architecture Media’s landscape titles and programs Ricky has embarked on the next stage of his career. During his tenure Ricky made a substantial contribution to Australia’s landscape architecture culture and we wish him all the best for his future endeavours.

Ricky’s final contribution to Landscape Architecture Australia is a special themed issue. Titled ‘Embracing the Asian Century,’ the February 2018 issue is a research-focused edition edited by Ricky together with guest editors Jillian Walliss and Heike Rahmann.
