Call for creative directors: 2023 Festival of Landscape Architecture

The Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA) is seeking expressions of interest from individuals, practices, schools of landscape architecture, or collaborative teams for the role of creative director for the 2023 Festival of Landscape Architecture.

The Festival of Landscape Architecture provides an opportunity for the Australian Institute of Landscape Architecture (AILA) to facilitate valuable exchanges between local and international landscape architects, between speakers and delegates, between practice, industry, education and authorities. The events involved in the festival each year are wide-ranging. Key events include a conference, welcome function, the presentation of the National Landscape Architecture Awards and project tours. The program may also include additional elements such as exhibitions, competitions, major public activations, student program and dedicated fringe events.

The 2023 edition of the annual festival will be held in Adelaide from 19 to 22 October 2023. It will be the first time the festival has been held in this location.

Submissions close Monday 7 November 2022. For more information, go here.
