November issue of LAA out now

A preview of the November 2021 issue of Landscape Architecture Australia.

This issue celebrates the institute’s National Landscape Architecture Awards. Each year, the program celebrates the best work of landscape architects responding to the many changes our cities and regions are undergoing.

Congratulations to the practices that were awarded in the state programs, and to those that have received recognition at the national level. The projects honoured are united by their ambition, depth of research, innovation and strong commitment to enriching the landscapes and communities of their respective locales.

This issue comes several months after the release of the latest Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) report. The report dramatically reinforces the urgency of climate action and the need to drastically reduce our carbon emissions. Moving forward, it is essential that as an industry we work together and exchange the knowledge and skills that can help us to produce responsive and enduring design.
