Jury citation:
The Ballam Bumps Regional Playspace has a generous design that exceeds expectations about who a playground is for and how it can be used. This playground celebrates the need for play in an unstructured way and caters for all age groups, from toddlers to adults. It embraces the idea of providing a regional recreational resource, incorporating parkour, a skatepark, bouldering and ball sports. It is both robust and understated and simply suburban in its presentation. It isn’t over-curated and is sure to be a focus of imaginative play for all age groups.
