The publication clearly communicates how to apply the concept of biourbanism in detail, with data and diagrams presented in a way that is both easy to interpret and enticing to read. The research demonstrates intellectual rigour and is presented in a highly impactful, yet digestible format that is engaging and accessible. The jury commends the author for his dedication to researching the topic over what has been an extensive period and notes the significant effort required to produce what is a stimulating body of work. The book is an excellent tool for advocating for the role of landscape architects in offering solutions for restoring and making better cities.
