Planning Institute Australia elects new Victorian president

The Planning Institute of Australia (PIA) has elected Laura Murray MPIA as Victorian president of the institute for 2017–18.

Laura was first elected to the Victorian committee in 2013 and has held the role of Women’s Planning Network (WPN) Convenor since 2013. She has also been actively involved with the institute’s Policy and Advocacy Committee.

Laura is a senior associate at APP Corporation (formerly The Planning Group) and has previously held roles at Meinhardt and Select Group Australia.

Stuart Menzies MPIA and John Holland MPIA were elected as vice presidents.
